On 5 and 6 November, Chassé Cinema and Blind Walls Gallery present the very first edition of Blind Walls Film Fest, a film festival all about murals.
In addition to the screening of several short and long films, there are Q&A’s with filmmakers and artists and introductions by experts. In the foyer you will find special installations and a photo exhibition with well-known street art hunters.
Blind Walls Film Fest is a unique event with both street art film classics and Dutch premieres. You can view the newest film of young filmmaker Tamino Parren; Mural Houfsjtad, about the impact of street art in Heerlen and the classic Kroonjuwelen, about the rise of graffiti in the Netherlands. Also screening are The Art of Rebirth, about French artist Seth Globepainter, who made murals at schools in Ukraine during the outbreak of the war and the Dutch premiere of Martha: A Picture Story, about the world famous photographer Martha Cooper.
During Blind Walls Film Fest, you will discover the world behind street art and the impact of this art form.
